Alternatively, individual rooms can be hired for smaller corporate events and meetings. Packages can be tailor-made for your specific event to meet your exact needs.  Full Wifi and AV setup available. Ample off street parking and easy access to public transport links and national rail services.

A historic and beautiful setting

Merchants’ Hall is the perfect setting for corporate entertaining. Stylish, elegant and steeped in Bristol’s history, the large Reception Room is a perfect space for networking over drinks and canapes, with the impressive Dining Room providing a delightful setting for a buffet supper or formal dinner. On a warm summer’s day or evening, guests can enjoy the elegant terrace overlooking the landscaped, private rear garden.

Flexible meeting space

The Hall can be offered as a complete package with all rooms available for use, alternatively, individual rooms can be hired for smaller events, including the Committee Room, the Master’s Office and the Museum. We will work with you to determine the most suitable room layout for your event, taking into account your AV requirements.

Our catering partner is able to provide a range of delicious options for you to choose from, spanning a light sandwich lunch to exquisite fine dining. All rooms have natural light and there is ample parking available onsite.

First class service

No grand Victorian hall would be complete without the services of a Butler and Merchants’ Hall is no exception. Our friendly and professional resident Butler will oversee your event to ensure that no detail is overlooked. A footman is also available if required, to greet your guests and direct car parking. The splendour of Merchants’ Hall can only be appreciated through a personal visit and we welcome the opportunity to discuss your event requirements with you.
